Melisssa Espinoza is the Youth Services Program Manager at Safe Alternatives for Violent Environments (SAVE) in Fremont. Prior to joining SAVE, Melissa was part of several prevention initiatives in Oakland. Most notably, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Dating Matters Initiative and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Start Strong: Building Healthy Teen Relationships Initiative. She has a fierce passion for social justice and working with underserved youth, as she herself entered the prevention world as an at-risk youth.
